House Rule: No roll call, No session.

Opposition congressmen vowed to put an end to constant absenteeism in the House of Representatives by making sure there is a roll call of members before the start of every session.

Every House member’s duty is to be in chamber’s session hall before session starts at 4 p.m., from Monday to Wednesday, and it is the duty of the majority to ensure the presence of a quorum in the sessions, said ParaƱaque Rep. Roilo Golez

He said now is the best time to enforce discipline among House members since there are more than 100 neophytes who are still eager to attend sessions.
