A sum of almost 1,800 voters had a commotion while trying to register for SK, Barangay Poll at Arroceros, Manila.
According to reports, it was 4 in the afternoon when the stampede happened which caused damage to COMELEC’s door, and injured 18 citizens.
Since there’s only one computer issued to each district (excluding 1st and 5th District who had 2 computers), only 10 persons were allowed to enter the COMELEC office to get a registration form. .
According to an election officer, one (1) computer can only serve 25 persons per hour but the commotion has nothing to do with it, but it’s because of the unorganized crowd control.
Distribution of registration forms will be until July 22, and voters can submit their form and have their picture for registration until June 28.
