Cherry Pie Picache has been fortunate this year for winning international awards.
She was named Best Actress for Seiko Films’ Foster Child at Osians Cine Fan Filmfest in New Delhi, India.
This was her second international Best Actress award this year coming after Kaleldo where she portrayed a role as a lesbian at Durban International Filmfest in South Africa.
Both films were directed by Brillante Mendoza.
Also this year, Cherry Pie won in the Golden Screen Awards a Best Supporting Actress for Twilight Dancers, directed by Mel Chionglo.
