"Rehas", one of Maalaala Mo Kaya episode gain a special award in a Seoul Drama Awards in Korea.
This is a true to life story of Mrs. Remedios Deodiva of Aklan, a mother taking care of her three mentally ill children.Gina Pareño plays the role of Remedios, and Lotlot de Leon, Jhong Hilario and Sid Lucero takes the role of the three mentally ill children.
The concluded Seoul Drama Award, an annual global competition for television dramas, honored ABS-CBN's Maalaala Mo Kaya last August 28 with a Special Award in Drama for its episode "Rehas" emerging from 130 submissions from 32 countries.
This episode was directed by Jeffrey Jeturian and written by
Dado Lomibao. Maalaala Mo Kaya airs every Friday night hosted by Ms. Charo Santos-Concio on ABS-CBN.
