TV host, actress Plinky Recto was granted by the Supreme court of custody to her 3 year-old son after a long running custody battle with lawyer Magdalo Peña, her former live-in partner.
Both filed suits and counter suits against each other accusing of physical abuse for several years.
The Court of Appeals grants custody of the child in the case brought by Peña on September 2006 and January 2007, and then he brought the case to Supreme Court which end up favoring Recto.
