Tropical Depression Spotted by PAGASA

August 13, 5:30 a.m., based on satellite and surface data, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) spotted a tropical depression with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph at 1,230 kms East of Northern Luzon.

According to forecast, it will move West at 11kph. A moderate to strong Southwesterly wind flow will prevail northern parts of Luzon, with cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, and Southern parts of Mindanao .

A partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced by the rest part of the country.
