Fans Reunite on Princess Diana's 10th Death Anniversary

In Paris, year 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales and former wife of Prince Charles, died in a car accident. This happened after Diana and her companion, Dodi Al Fayed - son of Harrods owner, Mohammed Al Fayed, left the Ritz Hotel in the French capital.

On Friday, fans of Princess Diana reunites as they commemorate the 10th Death Anniversary of their beloved Diana.

Hundreds of people queue in front of the palace where Diana lived for 15 years.

An informal religious service was held as part of their annual ritual in front of Kesington Palace.

"This is a service for the people, this is not a media razzmatazz. It is for the people who immensely cared for the princess," Gelli said at the start of the 15-minute tribute which ended with the playing of Candle in the Wind, which was sung by Elton John at Diana's funeral.
