Zubiri Compels Pimentel for Public Apology

A fuming Rep. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri over a live phone patch interview asks Senator Nene Pimentel to make a public apology to his parents for destroying the good ambience of his parent’s party.

Pimentel said that the Zubiri family invited Comelec Secretary Benjamin Abalos on the said party. But Miguel Zubiri denies Pimentel’s accusation and claim that it was only a “ten-second encounter” where the secretary also attended another function at the same hotel. Abalos, according to Migz dropped by and greeted his parents out of civility and then left after ten seconds.

“I dare the good senator if it is true that Chairman Abalos had dinner with us, if he sat down in the table with us and stayed longer than 10 seconds. If the good senator can prove that, I will concede for the 12th spot as of this moment in time,he should resign from his position or issue a public apology,” if Senator Pimentel could not back his claim said Zubiri.

“You [Pimentel] have to clear our name.” Zubiri added.
