Melanie Brown, known as Scary Spice of the Spice Girls filed suit against Eddie Murphy in Los Angeles seeking child support for her 3-month-old girl last Wednesday, August 1, 2007.
Brown and Murphy dated briefly last year, gave birth to her daughter April 3 where Murphy was listed on birth certificate as the baby’s father and a DNA test in June confirmed that Murphy is the father of Brown's baby, Angel Iris Murphy Brown.
August 3, Friday, Eddie Murphy acknowledged the child , and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy.
Murphy, who has five children from his first marriage, is engaged to Tracey Edmonds, his girlfriend of 10 months.
