Bratz lovers, mostly ‘tweens (girls between 6 and 10) will now see their favorite dolls into real life.
"Bratz" is the latest film of Hollywood which turned the four dress-up dolls-- Yasmin, Jade, Sasha and Cloe-- into wide-eyed teens settling social risk of high school. The movie's themes are friendship, beating peer pressure and other familiar teen mantras such as living your dreams and being true to yourself. This targets the growing ‘tween market which opens on Friday in the United States.
Moviemakers didn’t use of well-known actresses to portray the culturally diverse dolls. Instead they auditioned 5,000 girls and picked Nathalia Ramos, Janel Parrish, Logan Browning and Skyler Shaye to represent the Bratz dolls in life.
According to Sean McNamara, director of the said movie, the girls will dress on a parent-approved clothing which was the form of self-expression for the dolls.
